Bob is home from Florida. It is nice to have company but he is not one to sit quietly at home on long evenings. He will sometimes read a book in the quiet time but it seems that a force drives him to seek out others. How amazing it is that each person is unique. How is it possible that no two people in all creation were ever just alike? I enjoy solitude but quiet company is enjoyable. There are schools of thought held by scholars that seem to differ. Some say that the individual is shaped by genetics. Or put another way manners and attitudes are inherited. If that is true then why are father and son or mother and daughter often direct opposites? Certainly environment appears to shape many people. Consider the fact dial a doctor's son often becomes a doctor, or a good preacher may be fadier to another preacher. Look around and see how often, like father like son is true; but we must acknowledge the fact that the opposite also is true. My observations lead me to believe that what has been mentioned is not so easily applied to women; but as more and more women leave the home and join the work force that too may change.
